This June, we’re pleased to share a minor (but incredibly helpful) platform update with a few thoughtful additions. These updates reflect ongoing work to make the platform more adaptable, whether you need to reach employees by SMS or streamline administrative tasks across your organisation.

As survey providers, we know that getting a high response rate sometimes means meeting people where they already are. That’s why we’ve adapted and worked it so you can now send survey invitations by SMS. It’s perfect for employees who may not check their email regularly, are frequently on the move or do not have a corporate email account.
This lets you connect directly with hard-to-reach groups, such as frontline workers, delivery drivers or factory employees, without needing a company inbox. The messages come from a short phone number (+44 7426 914913) and include a brief invitation alongside a short link to your survey. Delivery, opens and clicks are all tracked just like email, letting you measure employee engagement across all delivery methods.
The result is greater participation, a more representative view of your workforce and richer, more actionable data to help you drive improvement across your organisation.
Managing view and edit permissions for different groups can be challenging, especially in large, complex organisations with numerous stakeholders.
We’ve improved the admin tools to make it simpler to control who can view, filter and manipulate your survey data. Whether you need to restrict certain roles from accessing sensitive reports or allow department leaders more oversight of their own team’s results, you now have greater flexibility directly within the survey platform.
This means you can match responsibilities to roles more accurately, streamline workflows and avoid bottlenecks, all while keeping your data appropriately protected.
The Organisation Directory (sync.peopleinsight.co.uk) has also been updated to better integrate with your Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The enhanced directory makes it more straightforward to keep your people data up to date, reducing manual effort and the risk of inaccuracies.
For organisations with large or frequently changing workforce structures, this means less administrative time spent making sure your directory reflects the reality on the ground. It also makes it easier to match employees to the right groups, roles and attributes when designing surveys and analysing survey results, yielding more accurate and actionable insight.
